Your First Visit

Our orthodontic team is happy to welcome you and your family to our office. We are pleased that you have chosen us to help care for your orthodontic needs. We want you to know that our team is committed to providing you with the highest quality treatment in a gentle, efficient and knowledgeable manner.

Your first visit with Dr. Hall will consist of an oral examination to determine if treatment is indicated. As a courtesy to our new patients there is no charge for this examination.

If treatment is indicated, the appropriate diagnostic procedures will be taken and the charge for these records will be discussed at that time. Complete diagnostic records typically include a medical/dental history, clinical examination; plaster study models of the teeth, photos of the patient’s face and teeth, and X-rays. This information is used to develop a custom treatment plan for each patient. These records are also helpful in tracking the progress as the teeth move throughout orthodontic treatment.

At the next appointment, Dr. Hall will discuss his findings and explain to you all treatment recommendations, outline the type of appliance or braces, estimated length of treatment and total fee.

We look forward to meeting with you at your appointment!

Getting Started

The appointment when braces or appliance (braces, expanders, etc.) are placed usually takes less than one hour. This appointment is painless as the patient reclines in the chair and is informed off all procedures being done in advance. This appointment starts with a thorough cleaning of the tooth surfaces and the application of the braces or appliances using state of the art orthodontic adhesives. Upon completion, patients receive comprehensive instructions on brushing and spend about half an hour learning about what to expect. If any questions arise after the appointment (as they usually do) Dr. Hall encourages his patients to call him on his cell phone any time.

Regular Appointments

Our regular office hours are Monday to Thursday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.  Patients are seen by appointment only. We make every effort to be on time for our patients, and ask that you extend the same courtesy to us. In certain circumstances, we would be happy to see patients on night and weekend appointments as well.

Payment & Office Policies

Cost
The cost of treatment depends on the severity of the patient’s problem. You will be able to discuss fees and payment options before treatment begins. We have payment plans to suit different budgets.  We also accept assignment from most insurance plans, and file the necessary papers to the insurance company. We work hard to make orthodontics affordable.

Fees
In an effort to keep orthodontic fees down while maintaining the highest level of professional care, we have established this financial policy:

  • To fit your individual needs, financial arrangements can be made to extend your payments over a period of months.
  • For your convenience, we accept payment by all major credit cards (VISA, MASTERCARD and American Express).

Insurance
If you have insurance, we will help you to determine the coverage you have available. Professional care is provided to you, our patient, and not to an insurance company. Thus, the insurance company is responsible to the patient and the patient is responsible to the doctor. We will help in every way we can in filing your claim and handling insurance questions from our office on your behalf. To better assist you with your insurance needs we have a full-time insurance coordinator to attend to any questions that you may have.
